Chocolate Chief is a brand of assorted chocolates and aromas centered around traditional Native American culture. With every box purchased, money is donated to National Relief Charities (NRC). The NRC improves the quality of life for Native Americans living on remote and poverty-stricken reservations in the Plains and Southwest.
The logomark inspiration came from a combination of the shape of the sticks used to create the framework of a teepee and the painted illustrations found on their outer layers.
The box shape resembles a Native smudge box.
Each Teepee represents the five Native American nations: Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek (Muscogee), and Seminole.
